Maintenance Technician
Department: Travel Center
Location: Black Mesa Casino
Incumbent in this position is responsible for the cleaning and maintaining the appearance of San Felipe Casino interior and exterior areas by performing custodial maintenance duties including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpets, cleaning and restocking restrooms.
All San Felipe Casino employees must be able to develop a clear understanding of customers’ needs and goals while maintaining clear communication with customer regarding meeting their expectations. He/she must follow though and respond to customers’ requests and inform them of action taken in a courteous, professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Works independently and achieves daily tasks to standards.
• Helps customers when asked.
Sweep and mop floors.
• Vacuum carpets.
• Clean restrooms and restock paper and soap supplies.
• Perform routine maintenance to custodial equipment.
• Empty trash receptacles and ashtrays and bag trash for proper disposal.
• Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
• Perform all work activities in accordance with Casino safety policies and procedures.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete required training as directed by the Supervisor or the Human Resources Department.
• Maintain professional hygiene and appearance in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Must perform all duties in compliance with the casino’s safety policies and procedures.
• All San Felipe Casino employees must be competent in working effectively with department members and members of other departments to resolve common issues or problems as well as listening and seeking others’ perspective on how to complete assignments.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education/Experience:
One (1) year custodial experience preferred. Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds on a regular basis and sustain prolonged walking and standing. Extended working hours, including weekends, may be required. Must possess Class III Gaming License.
• Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Math Ability:
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s.

To serve the guests food, drinks and snacks. Shall represent the San Felipe Travel Center in a professional and exemplary manner and promote the success of the San Felipe Travel Center to guests, staff and any other parties.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
• Maintaining beverage station by restocking cups, ice, and dispensers.
• Responsible for serving the guest’s food, drinks and snacks while providing exemplary service.
• Must demonstrate fiscal responsibility by providing proper change to guests and accurately completing end of shift paperwork.
• Complete all side work and maintain par levels of condiments and paper products in work areas.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and servers daily events and specials.
• Wipe and buss dining tables and chairs.
• Empty trash.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Know the menu to include, pricing and ingredients.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor.

Cook
Department: Travel Center Restaurant
Location: Black Mesa Casino
Incumbent is responsible for the overall preparation of a wide variety of foods such as vegetables, fruits, meats, soups, salads, and cereals in accordance with prescribed recipes using a full range of cooking methods according to specified food handling procedures.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
• Assist Cook 2 in the preparation of a variety of foods such as vegetables, fruits, meats, soups, salads, pastry and cereals in accordance with prescribed recipes.
• Carve and display meats, vegetables, fruits, and salads
• Inspect food to ensure freshness of items produced
• Operate food preparation equipment and machinery.
• Follow all proper cleaning and sanitation requirements.
• Assist other kitchen personnel as needed.
• Maintain professional hygiene and appearance.
• Wash plate ware, glassware, silverware, pots/pans and kitchen utensils according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Ensure dishes are sanitized and available as needed; always keep sanitation solution up to San Felipe Pueblo Enterprise standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and maintenance of dish machine.
• Place clean plate ware, glassware, silverware and pot/pans in specified shelves according to sanitation and cleaning procedures.
• Keep dish areas clean by sweeping, mopping floors, wiping countertops, and emptying trash.
• Trouble-shoots dishwasher machine malfunctions.

Restaurant Supervisor
Department: Travel Center Restaurant
Location: Black Mesa Casino
This position is under the general direction of the Restaurant Manager and performs as the Manager in their absence and is responsible for all personnel and all Food & Beverage Department operations during the assigned shift. Incumbent is responsible for scheduling, performance management, and training of all subordinates on assigned shift.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
• Facilitate availability, supervision, training and development of frontside personnel.
• Prepare end of shift reports, disciplinary reports, and paperwork regarding department operations.
• Prepare inventories, maintains records of various food items conditions.
• Report all incidents occurring during his or her shift to Restaurant Manager.
• Order goods as backup to the Restaurant Manager.
• Maintain Food & Beverage Departmental cash reserves during assigned shift, to include review of cashier’s till and end of shift reports.
• Resolve conflicts among customers and/or staff.
Perform duties of subordinates as required
• Maintain a professional hygiene and appearance.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete required training as directed by the Supervisor or the Human Resources Department.
